excite

EXite (Exploiting Information Technology in Education) programme.

Following three carefully planned, evaluated and successful pilot programmes, we confirm the programme is now live and bookings are open.

EXite is for school leaders and their staff with leadership responsibility to help them make clear and strategic decisions about technology.  It is led by practising successful school and academy leaders and recognised experts in the field of educational technology with a wealth of experience, content, resources and contacts.

EXite is a two-day programme backed up by on-line resources, designed by leaders for leaders to ensure that the benefits of new technologies are realised in schools and academies.  EXite provides high quality input from educational technology specialists to stimulate debate and challenge and support leaders develop their priorities and plans.

The EXite model - using a mix of self-reflection and challenge, taught sessions, group discussions, shared learning and a focus on change management - looks at leadership of ICT, new technologies and learning from a variety of viewpoints. Throughout the programme delegates are also supported by direct contact with the programme leaders and have access to a secure and exclusive on-line portal with a wide range of resources.

e2bn Conference 2012

Technology Making The Difference

This year’s E2BN conference is an opportunity for us all to take time to think about the enormous impact technology has on the lives of young people and more specifically how it has, does and will continue to change teaching and learning for us all.
Try the latest technologies and hear from those pioneering them in their own classrooms through a range of practical workshops; talk to suppliers and pick up a range of advice and inspiration from our conference speakers. Talk to the E2BN staff who will help answer your e-safety, broadband, networking and technology related questions. Find out about Computer Studies and programming, how to use ICT creatively across the curriculum and what you need to do about copyright.

Two free places per E2BN School

Book your place now at: conference.e2bn.org

The Central Bedfordshire Schools Directory provides key contact details of officers in Children's Services and other areas of the Council that schools may need to contact.  This first edition will continue to be developed and we would welcome feedback from schools to incorporate within future versions. The document will be subject to annual review.
